Almond milk

ITALY Great ingredient of the traditional italian cuisine. Served chilled on summer, it can also be used as an ingredient for other drinks like café glacé or replace milk in most recipies. (Almond milk is also known in Spain and Taïwan). This drink presents numerous advantages on cow milk : cholesterol free, no saturated fats, Casein free, 50% more Calcium than in cow milk, less caloric (60Kcal) than half-fat milk (86Kcal), OK for lactose intolerants, and no oestrogenic properties like soya milk. Moreover, it can be keeped out of the fridge. Only one inconvenient : the high price !

Bitter rosso (soda)

Brioschi

ITALY Effervescente Brioschi are pellets that allow to restitute a digestive drink with lemon flavour. Refreshing and thirst-quenching, effervescente Brioschi is born more than a hundred years ago. Caffe de orzo

ITALY Barley coffee is very popular in Italian bars and easy to find in supermarkets too. Beeing naturally cafeine free, Caffe de orzo is drunk as a decaf.
Chinotto

ITALY Italian soda having he same color than Coca, but prepared with the citrus zests and essence (chinotto fruit) and herbal extracts. The beverage wears a very refreshing and pleasant mild taste. Chinotto (sometimes written chin8) is commercialized by different brands : San Pellegrino (Nestle group), Abbondio, Coca-Cola... Chinotto is called "Brio" in Canada and "Bisleri" in Australia.
